As with every other GTA title, most missions are triggered by following markers on your map. The blue icons represent missions that Michael can start. The green icons represent missions that Franklin can start, and the orange icons represent missions that Trevor can start. Many missions in GTA V can be started by multiple characters, there are also missions that can only be started by only one character as well.
